Does money bring happiness?

Who among us does not like to trump with the phrase that happiness is not in money but in their quantity. But for some reason, this coveted amount has never fallen to anyone. Judge for yourself, whoever has little money, he dreams that someday the day will come, and money will finally be enough for all the joys of life. Those who seem to have enough money (from the point of view of those who have much less) increase their demands. After all, in fact, today someone does not have enough for a smoked sausage, and someone - for an island in some kind of sea. Both of them are disadvantaged.

It turns out that happiness is somewhere within reach, because there is no limit to human desires, which are certainly measured in monetary terms. Well, how else, you have to pay for all the pleasures you get. Take at least a banal picnic on the lake. To get to the lake you need a car, in order to enjoy recreation , you need to take all sorts of goodies with you, such as barbecue, someone respects beer. All this requires cash, or non-cash - the essence of this does not change. The main thing is that the family budget allows.

From which it follows: in order to get the coveted portion of endorphins (hormones of happiness), you first need to have a certain amount, and the higher it is, the more comfort you can afford. And the cooler things (and, accordingly, comfort), the more friends and relatives envy you. And then you feel that you really deserve respect and attention to your own person from others. Well, you start to like yourself more. And here your happiness would seem immeasurable. Until one BUT is found. For some reason, it all disappears too quickly. I bought a car - a month later I got used to it: as if it had been with you all my life (only loans remained). I bought a house - I also got used to it. Who would doubt that the island will be the same. Only now, because of the heap of all this goodness, something of happiness is not to be seen.

So it turns out that happiness as such does not depend on money, rather, a person himself makes his inner comfort dependent on external factors. And those short-term pleasures that we get from acquiring good things can actually be a much more long-term phenomenon if we experience pleasure in life. If you respect yourself for what has already been achieved, and at the same time strive for the best, enjoying the process, you get a buzz from life itself.

But unfortunately, people tend to get hung up on negative things, but how can you be happy at the same time. That's why, getting a promotion , and with it an increase in salary , a person first rejoices, but when he encounters a portion of the problems that he has to solve due to his new position, for some reason he does not always remember that he now has there is enough money to have fun on vacation with friends.

In other words, happiness to an ordinary person seems to be some kind of ephemeral substance that cannot be taken and tried on on one's shoulders, and it is desirable to leave it in this place forever. It turns out a kind of vicious circle: there is money - there is happiness, no money - there is no happiness. Although it would be more correct: if you have money, it's good, but your neighbor has more. Question: How can I be happy if my neighbor lives better. Here again, they came to the conclusion that a person puts himself in dependence by constant comparisons with something or someone, and all these comparisons mainly rest on money.

Therefore, if you want to be happy , do not get hung up on amounts of money, any of them will not be enough for you anyway. Do not rest on comparing your financial capabilities with the income of relatives or friends, so at least you will feel happy in the circle of close people. Otherwise, friends will “become enemies” and relatives will seem like strangers.

After all, what a person needs: to be significant and respected among others. And how to become like that if you don’t respect yourself, when you have less money than they have. And when there are more of them, then everyone wants to get something from you for their own benefit. In general, happiness can be measured with money and parrots, it’s convenient for anyone. Only the result is often the same: it could be more. The main thing is that there is no overkill.

Unfortunately, everyone is addicted to money. Now nothing can be done without money, if you are not a goblin living in the forest. Every day of life has its price, in terms of human needs. We cannot refuse this. And everyone has their own happiness!
