Trips around the city do not particularly force the owner to think about additional protection for the body. Unless applying polishing will once again protect your “swallow” from minor scratches. However, consider the option when you plan to organize a holiday in the local south by self-propelled (of course, on your own car).
Car protection
Well, a long road involves a serious test for your car. First of all, for the body. Small pebbles, midges, splashes - all this will leave marks and spoil the appearance of the car.
ways of protection
Let's consider one of them. Liquid case. Able to temporarily (optimally for 10 days) protect the body from minor troubles. Means with similar properties are used, for example, by drivers of cars (though if the drive is not so long). This substance is applied with a brush in 2-3 layers. After drying - you can hit the road. Since it contains latex, it is very pliable to the touch and can be easily removed. However, despite the seeming 100% benefit, such a case also has its drawbacks. For example, it is not recommended to use it at too low and high temperatures (the thresholds are usually indicated in the instructions).
If the product is overexposed, then it will be very problematic to wash it off. One of the users of such protection said that at first everything suited him when it was obvious that midges remained on the protective film. However, after the expiration of the vacation and upon returning home, he was faced with the fact that the product was not washed off the body. For a long time I tried to remove the remaining pieces in different sinks. In the end, I got rid of it, but how much nerves, effort and money were spent, one can only guess.
Analog
Another analogue of such protection is a transparent cover. The application technology is the same as described in the first case. When it dries, it is transparent, but noticeable, since the surface is not perfectly even. It also has its drawbacks: for example, under the influence of moisture in places it can wash off (which will be noticeable to the eye and not look very neat), not to mention the likelihood of falling into heavy rain. But at low and high temperatures it is more stable than the previous one.
For trips to the forest, to the river bank, to the garden (that is, for a short rest), “liquid protection” will be the ideal way. You can treat those areas that are more prone to scratches. Of course, aesthetics will suffer, but then choose what is more valuable to you: the safety of the body or beauty.
Moral: before using protection, consult a specialist in the store. Once again, insure yourself with additional information, because the desire to keep your car safe and sound can cost you a round sum: first to purchase a protective agent, and then to launder it. You can, of course, resort to folk remedies (such as adhesive tape), but this path can also turn out to be without a trace in the truest sense of the word. Therefore, choosing protection for a car is no easier than choosing a car for women .
