How to deal with fears

Fear can work both for good and for harm to a person. For example, the instinct of self-preservation very often seems to warn of danger: “Don’t jump from this height, don’t swim there, it’s better to give up this idea ...” ... makes a mistake, sometimes irreparable.

However, there is also the opposite situation, when panic in the soul leads to a deplorable outcome. And all because the owner succumbed to fear and gave in to difficulties, which, perhaps, he even invented for himself. This state of affairs often slows down promotion , success in personal life, and in other areas it is difficult to achieve something if fear has big eyes.

Several options for overcoming fear

    Consider from all sides what brings you indescribable horror. Try to be honest with yourself about what you specifically fear and why. Upon closer examination of the problem, it ceases to seem global, because, as you know, there is always a way out while you are alive.
    Often the all-in approach helps. This is when you forcefully brush aside all doubts and just go to the intended goal, no matter what. This method is suitable in cases where you doubt whether you have the strength to do something (open your own business, make a report to a large audience, sign an important contract, etc.). As soon as you plunge into the process without looking back, then everything works out for you.

There is a way to practice before global tasks using small ones as an example. It is worth trying to start taking on a not very big role. After playing it, you will receive a small brick of confidence, important for passing to the next stage. Remember: there is no small result, there is another important victory on the way to a big goal.

    Fear is paralyzing if you willingly give in to it. Another thing is when you consciously renounce the position of the victim and take full responsibility for the implementation of something. When you are the doer of your destiny, the master of circumstances, then next to you there is no place for groundless trembling.
    The fight against fear can be long and hard, if you do not immediately determine for yourself which side you are on. Where the scales tip, he will win. Therefore, do not listen to smart speeches from a friend, from a neighbor or anyone else, if the whole point is that, in general, everything is bad and there is no way out. It is better to cling to some one small but positive moment that will help you emerge victorious from the existing situation.
