Obviously, healthy food should be useful for the body (sorry for the tautology). There are basic groups of elements that we need every day in certain micro doses. But since a person feels differently in different periods, he needs every time those products that are necessary for the state of his body at a particular moment.
What food is good for health?
Can sandwiches be healthy? Of course, if they are, for example, with red caviar. There are no carbohydrates in it, but it overtakes meat almost twice in terms of the number of kilocalories, and it also has a high percentage of protein (up to thirty percent), which is generally rare for animal products. By the way, the proteins and fats of red caviar are important for normalizing blood pressure, because they are related to improving blood circulation. It also contains such valuable elements as phosphorus, iron, a whole group of vitamins: A, B, E, D.
And this can be said about any product. Even pasta (meaning quality pasta made from durum wheat) is healthy to eat. In their composition, they have complex carbohydrates, which are characterized by rapid breakdown, as well as proteins and vitamins. But in their composition there are practically no fats. And this is all very important for those who want to lose weight. The only question is how the foods you choose are prepared and in what quantities they are consumed. As you know, everything is good in moderation.
It is worth adding to the last statement that “harmful” (if abused) can be products that contain useful substances. Some of them have high cholesterol levels. More specifically, you should not be overly fond of sour cream, eggs, liver, kidneys, pork and other animal products or their derivatives, such as mayonnaise. Stick to the golden mean.
Any food can be considered healthy if it has retained its beneficial properties (vitamins and trace elements) and at the same time does not “contradict” your state of health.
About the benefits of chocolate and sweet foods
Chocolate improves mood because it stimulates the production of endorphins (happiness hormones). Therefore, in cloudy weather, you really want to eat a bar of chocolate. And it is also good during periods of exams to improve brain activity. Actually, many sweets help the production of that same hormone.
