Tips for new drivers

Tips for novice drivers.

Everyone who has received a license knows that the very basics are given in a driving school. It is at least risky to immediately go to the city with superficial knowledge and skills. Therefore, many commune on weekends or late evenings.

If you are a lady - a novice driver, our tips will help you a little to adapt in a new environment for you.

Don't be ashamed of your inexperience, better use the beginner's sign: a yellow square with a black exclamation point. So the traffic participants will at least understand that your reaction is far from automatic, and be afraid, for example, on the rise (where your car can roll back). There is an opinion that if you stick a sign of a beginner, then traffic cops will stop you more often than others. Absolutely not a fact. Have a map of the area with you, it's easy to get lost, even in the city. And with a map, you can safely pull over to the side of the road and view your route. Follow absolutely all the rules, at least in the first year of driving. Even if other road users cut you off and so on, in the event of an accident, the truth will be on your side.

Try to get to know your car better. To do this, as you more or less get comfortable, go somewhere out of town, on a quiet road, check how your car behaves at a decent speed (within the limits allowed by the rules, of course). Also once again practice driving uphill with a stop, without rolling back, a U-turn in a limited space. Get a feel for the dimensions of the car. You should not take an example from those who are reckless on the road. Why do you need sad consequences. As they say, you go quieter - you will continue, but without trouble.

Overconfidence is your enemy. It’s good if you plan your route in advance before leaving. There are cases when, under the influence of stress, ladies forgot the way to their destination. Also, do not forget the recommendations of your instructor: the first step is to adjust the chair for you. It is unnecessary to remind about the temperature inside.

A comfortable atmosphere in the cabin is the key to a successful trip. Reserve time. Haste on the road, and even for a beginner, is inappropriate. If possible, at first do not often change lanes from one row to another. In urban traffic jams, it is difficult for a beginner to maneuver. Driving alone (without a crew) while getting used to the road is preferable. Strangers in the cabin (as well as music) will distract you. In addition, you will want to demonstrate all your skills, which is also fraught with unsuccessful maneuvers. Don't worry that nearby drivers drive better .

Do not give in to emotions, they can cause your sharp reaction to the traffic situation. Try not to shy away if other drivers are honking at you. Finally, love your car and don't forget to inspect it preferably before every trip, be sure to make sure that there is enough gasoline in the tank. Then your car will be a trouble-free assistant on the road.
