How to choose household appliances
Starting a conversation about the choice of household appliances, it is logical to start with kitchen utensils. Like it or not, the hostesses are most often near the stove and along the way they use a bunch of different units. More than once I have heard statements like: “All the time I thought that a dishwasher was a whim, but now that I bought it, I don’t understand how I managed without it before? ..” And the same can be said about any kitchen appliances.
Kettles, frying pans, crockery sets, water filters and so on - all these are little helpers, without which it is impossible to even imagine modern life. And how many of them are in home appliance stores today ... you can’t count them. Each consumer wants the same teapot to have a decent appearance, fit into the interior, and suit the quality.
Someone also pays attention to the manufacturer's brand, to the price - here, as they say, it's up to taste and wallet. It is only clear that you have to pay more for well-known brands, but there are also brands that combine quality and price. Those who bought it know, and those who have not used it yet have everything ahead of them. Recommendations from friends are also important. A competent consultant will help you choose household appliances in the store.
How do you usually choose household appliances? First, determine what you need. Then come to the store, go to the right department and, looking at all the variety and following the call of your desires, sometimes you forget to pay attention to very important points.
Important points when choosing household appliances
- Do not buy goods from the window. Although even in large household appliances stores, it is not uncommon for a product to allegedly remain in a single copy, and then only in a window. The fact is that very often a product that has already been in a service center (that is, it was faulty, it was repaired and put up for sale again) very often gets into the window, in this case the device passport will be dented. Also, the equipment in the window is often wiped from dust, from which microcracks form on the surface. And, besides this, the surfaces and sometimes the "stuffing" suffer from constant movements. Expensive equipment, of course, can be much better than cheaper ones, but, on the other hand, often the price is due to the popularity of the brand and simply a staggering number of additional functions. Think about whether you will use this functionality, whether it makes sense to overpay. When choosing built-in appliances, be sure to consider the dimensions. It is better to measure seven times than to think later how to build in this technique if it is not included. Consider how economical your appliances will be in terms of energy consumption. For example, it is known that an electric kettle consumes up to 3000 watts, and a microwave oven up to 1600 watts. On the other hand, in microwave ovens, the amount of energy consumption depends on the number of functions used. The most energy-intensive are those in which microwaves, electric grill and convection can be used at once. In addition, the more devices, the higher the consumption. Clarify questions about the use of household appliances before buying them, so that later there will be no disappointment from the fact that it turns out that wooden spoons and cups crack in the dishwasher, and hard water leaves whitish marks on transparent glass dishes.
